Super Pho and Grill is a straightforward, no-frills Vietnamese restaurant tucked into a busy strip mall on Lee Highway in Chattanooga. This spot serves up a solid lineup of classic Vietnamese dishes, with pho taking center stage—offering both traditional beef and chicken variations alongside options like Bun Bo Hue and vegetarian pho. The menu extends beyond noodle soups into flavorful rice dishes, stir-fries, and even Vietnamese-style coffee drinks with boba, catering to those in search of authentic flavors rather than modern twists.

When you walk in, expect a modest, slightly worn interior that reflects its long-standing neighborhood presence. It’s clear the focus here is on the food itself rather than decor, with attentive staff who seem genuinely invested in delivering quality and maintaining authenticity. The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, making it a fitting spot for both solo diners and small groups looking for a comforting, home-style meal.

This restaurant works well for anyone craving a genuine taste of Vietnamese home cooking in Chattanooga without the pretense of a hip dining environment. It’s particularly appealing for those who appreciate well-executed broths brimming with fresh herbs and real cuts of meat, as well as those who enjoy some of the more unique regional specialties like Vietnamese shaking beef or tangy Cơm Tấm plates.

Lunch or early dinner times are ideal here when the kitchen is fresh and the place isn’t too crowded—making it easy to enjoy the steady rhythm of orders and the subtle communal hum typical of mom-and-pop joints. The menu includes approachable comfort options like grilled pork chop with rice or fresh spring rolls, which highlight the clean, vibrant ingredients Vietnamese cuisine is known for.

Overall, Super Pho and Grill is about straightforward, authentic Vietnamese flavors served in a humble setting. It’s a comfortable neighborhood stop to satisfy cravings for warm bowls of pho or a refreshing durian smoothie after a busy day in Chattanooga.

Went here during a work trip. Could certainly using some renovations both inside and out. However, I know restaurants like this typically make up for atmosphere by selling some damn good authentic food. Waitress was very nice and kept checking on me and seemed proud of their food. I was more than happy with all of my choices and will certainly go again. It was nice to see food that did not appear soo americanized. Also, the portions are incredibly generous!! If you are all about the food and don’t care so much about sitting somewhere fancy, then i highly recommend this! I plan to go back again in the future my next visit to the area!

I've heard great things about this place from other people, so I decided to come by and try it myself. I got #44, the stir fried vermicelli with beef and onion. I think my friend got the stir fried tofu with tomato sauce, I could be wrong though. But my dish was fantastic. The stir fried beef was delicious and flavorful. I loved the crunchiness from the onions and cucumbers. I also liked how fresh the veggies tasted. Noodles had a good consistency, and the sauce on the side was so good. Overall, it was a very well balanced dish. Service was good, our server and other employees would check up on us to see how we were doing. Compared to other Asian restaurants in the area, this place has smaller portion sizes. Despite this, I would definitely come back again. This is a 4.5/5 for me.

So refreshing to have a real restaurant that serves real food. You order a bowl of pho for a v modest price and you have real flank steak, beef tripe, and other unprocessed protein, along with v authentic broth, fresh bean sprouts, basil leaves, etc. Everything is real here, and probably 10x better for you than any of the deep fried processed food alternatives anywhere nearby. Thank heavens for this small business bringing authenticity, diversity, and quality here to CHA. And you know it’s real when they give you a paper towel roll to wipe the sweat off your brow from all the spice that customers like myself want to add. Awesome. 10 stars.

Been coming here when the first owners owned it. It has been through several ownerships. The food is great and is honestly the most decent vietnamese place in Chattanooga where the broth is authentic and flavorful. I ordered the soda Chanh not too long ago and it was amazing. I ordered it again today and was surprised that it tasted like sprite. I called and the guy said that it has been made like that for a year and it's sprite with lemon juice. To those who have had soda Chanh knows that sprite and lemon juice is not the same taste as club soda with lime and sugar. Pho is always amazing , worth your money.

My favorite place to get Pho in Chattanooga. It's a hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant with a very laid back atmosphere. Today I had the well done beef flank pho with Tofu - it was absolutely PHOnomenal (heh). The chicken pho is also 10/10 & their bhan mi is addictive. Really, everything I've eaten here has soothed my soul and feels deeply nourishing to my body. Cold, sick, hungry (or hangry), sad, happy... pho can cure it. Takeout is good too but I love dining in the restaurant because they have chili crisp oil and sauces on the table you can add to spice up the pho to your liking. If you do have to resort to takeout, i really appreciated that the broth, noodles, and side veggies are all stored separately so nothing gets soggy. Thank you to everyone at Super pho for serving such amazing food. I cant wait to come back.

Excellent food! If you love Asian food, but are sick and tired of the poor quality Chinese restaurants in Chattanooga, discover Vietnam! Delicious, aromatic, and so well-spiced. Best fried tofu I've ever had. Top it off with a Vietnamese coffee, which is a dark roast that drips over condensed milk -- simply scrumptious.

Great Vietnamese cuisine! Thier pho and spring rolls are really good and they are one of the few places that have avocado boboa and smoothies! The pho really warmed us up in this cold weather we're having!
